Drone Attack Targets Oil Tanker with Two Million Barrels of Iraqi Fuel in Territorial Waters

An oil tanker carrying two million barrels of Iraqi fuel oil was attacked on Wednesday in Iraqi territorial waters. Two Iraqi port officials reported that the Panama-flagged vessel was targeted by a drone strike. Iraqi rescue boats promptly extinguished the fire that erupted aboard the tanker, identified as the "New Andros".
