Director of Commander-in-Chief's Office: Iraq Enters New Phase of International Cooperation After Coalition Mission End

Lieutenant General Abdul Amir al-Shammari, Director of the Commander-in-Chief's Office for the Armed Forces, affirmed that Iraq is transitioning to a new phase of international cooperation following the conclusion of the international coalition's missions. This announcement came during his separate meetings at his office with the Chargé d'Affaires of the United Kingdom Embassy and the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Iraq. The discussions covered various topics of mutual interest, alongside a review of developments in cooperation between Iraq and the two friendly nations, aiming to bolster shared interests and foster bilateral partnership avenues. Al-Shammari clarified that September 30th marks the deadline for ending the international coalition forces' missions in Iraq, signaling a new chapter in relations and cooperation. He emphasized this phase will be built on mutual interests and respect, in line with Iraq's vision for balanced ties with all global nations and contributing to regional security and stability.
