Denouncing recent attacks Iraqi government keen sustain distinguished brotherly relations productive partnership UAE

The Iraqi government denounced today, Tuesday, the drone attacks that targeted the United Arab Emirates.

The government spokesman, Basem Al-Awadi, said in a statement received by (Al-Rabaa) that "the Iraqi government expresses its strong condemnation of the drone attacks that recently targeted the sisterly United Arab Emirates, and confirms its full support for efforts to establish security and stability in the region."

The government renewed "its full keenness on the sustainability of distinguished brotherly relations, productive partnership with the sisterly United Arab Emirates, and the continuation of the constructive cooperation approach for everything that serves the interest of joint Arab action, and the supreme interests of Iraq and the UAE alike."

It stressed "the importance of effective regional and international cooperation to prevent any escalation or offense to the stability of the region, or targeting the safety and sovereignty of brotherly and friendly countries."
