The Central Bank of Iraq denied today, Wednesday, the authenticity of reports claiming that it granted its employees loans amounting to 300 million dinars. The bank confirmed in an official statement that the circulated document suggesting this is forged and was not issued by the bank in any form. The statement emphasized the falsity of the news spread through media outlets and social media platforms attributing the issuance of such a letter to the Central Bank, highlighting that legal actions will be taken against those responsible for forging the document.
