Basra's Heavy and Medium Crudes Record Weekly Gains Despite Recent Decline
Basra's heavy and medium crude oils recorded notable weekly gains, despite their decline in the last trading session. While current market data showed a continued decrease in Basra crude prices, subsequent global figures indicated higher price levels. Basra Heavy crude fell by 92 cents per barrel, or 1.51%, closing at $61.38 per barrel in its latest trading. However, it secured weekly gains of $6.59, equivalent to a 12.03% increase compared to its starting price of $54.79 per barrel at the week's onset. Similarly, Basra Medium crude decreased by 94 cents per barrel, or 1.43%, to close at $64.68 per barrel. Despite this, it achieved weekly gains of $7.59, an increase of 13.29% relative to its opening price of $57.09 per barrel for the week.
