Ballistic Missile Debris Found in Dhi Qar Open Area, No Casualties
Parts of a ballistic missile have fallen in an open area within Dhi Qar governorate, causing no human casualties or material damage. The incident occurred following a loud explosion heard in Nasiriyah, the provincial capital. Subsequently, specialized teams located a missile warhead that had landed specifically in the area between Nasiriyah and Al-Batha district. Field surveys conducted by technical teams confirmed no injuries among civilians or material damage to the areas surrounding the impact site, amidst rising security tensions in the region. Immediately after the incident, security forces imposed a tight cordon around the location and commenced necessary technical procedures to deal with the fallen object's remnants, aiming to secure the area and ensure the safety of nearby residents.
