Baghdad murder crime due to inheritance dispute

Baghdad Al-Karkh Police Command announced today the arrest of a wanted suspect in connection with the murder of his uncle following an inheritance dispute in the Jukuk area of Baghdad. The command confirmed in a statement that the Al-Hurriya police station detachments initiated investigation procedures upon receiving information about the incident, and succeeded in identifying the suspect and arresting him. It indicated that the force seized from the suspect a Kalashnikov rifle with a magazine and 25 rounds, suspected of being used in carrying out the incident. It pointed out that necessary legal measures were taken against the suspect and he was referred to the competent authorities to complete investigations and judicial procedures according to established rules.
