Axios US forces will remain region throughout temporary agreement

Axios website reported, citing sources, that the US forces recently mobilized in the region will remain throughout the duration of the temporary agreement, and will not withdraw unless a final agreement is reached.

The US official mentioned that the draft memorandum of understanding includes commitments from Iran not to seek possession of a nuclear weapon, and to enter into negotiations regarding the suspension of its uranium enrichment program, and disposing of its stockpile of highly enriched uranium.

Two informed sources told the website that Iran provided verbal commitments through mediators regarding the volume of concessions it might offer concerning the suspension of enrichment and giving up nuclear materials.

In return, the United States will agree to negotiate the lifting of sanctions and the release of frozen Iranian funds during the sixty-day period, but the actual implementation will not take place except within a verifiable final agreement.
