Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi left the Pakistani capital, Islamabad, today, Saturday, April 25, 2026, following a series of meetings with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief Asim Munir. During the visit, Araghchi presented a list of his country's demands to de-escalate the conflict, including lifting the U.S. naval blockade on Iranian ports imposed since April 13, halting military threats, and retracting conditions for the complete abandonment of uranium enrichment. The Iranian minister later headed to Muscat then Russia, at a time when the proposed second round of talks with the U.S. delegation, which has not yet left Washington, hit a stalemate.
