Araghchi Begins Tour of Pakistan, Oman, and Russia to Coordinate on Rapid Regional Developments

 Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced today, Friday, April 24, 2026, the start of a significant diplomatic tour including Islamabad, Muscat, and Moscow. Araghchi confirmed via "X" platform that the objective of these visits is close coordination with regional and international partners on bilateral issues and current regional developments. Describing the timing of the tour as "critical," Araghchi emphasized that neighboring countries remain the top priority in Iranian foreign policy, amidst intensive diplomatic activity in the three capitals to discuss maritime security and proposed peace agreements.
