Al Zaidi receives invitation visit Germany

 The Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi received today, Thursday, an invitation to visit Germany.

The Media Office of the Prime Minister stated in a statement received that "the Prime Minister, Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi, received today, Thursday, the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Iraq, Daniel Kriener."

It added that "during the meeting, Al-Zaidi received a congratulatory letter from German Chancellor Friedrich Merz on the occasion of forming the new government, along with an invitation to visit Germany, which also included emphasizing the importance of developing bilateral relations between the two countries and advancing them in various fields, especially in the development, energy, and economy sectors."

It pointed out that "the meeting discussed the developments of the situation in the region, where the necessity of working to support regional stability, sustaining dialogue, and moving towards diplomatic solutions that preserve the region's security and enhance its stability was emphasized."
