Al-Zaidi Appoints Basim Al-Badri to Lead National Security

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi, issued a decision today, Thursday, to appoint Basim Al-Badri as head of the National Security Service. Informed sources stated that this appointment replaces Abdul Karim Al-Basri. The sources added that Al-Badri is expected to officially assume his duties at the helm of the agency within the coming hours.
