Al-Zaidi and Al-Sudani confirm sustaining political party understandings completing government formation

Prime Minister Ali Falah al-Zaidi and Reconstruction and Development Coalition leader Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani affirmed, today Thursday, the importance of sustaining understandings among political parties to complete the government formation.

The Prime Minister's media office said in a statement that al-Zaidi met today Thursday with Reconstruction and Development Coalition leader Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani.

The statement added that the meeting witnessed an exchange of congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, a review of the most prominent developments on the national scene, along with emphasis on the importance of sustaining understandings among political parties to complete the government formation, and affirming support for the government in implementing its development plans in a way that meets the aspirations of the Iraqi people.
