Al-Zaidi and Al-Maliki Call for Unified Efforts to Complete Government Formation

Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi and the head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri Al-Maliki, on Thursday underscored the imperative for national political forces to redouble efforts towards the swift completion of the government formation. This emphasis followed a meeting between the two leaders, during which they exchanged Eid al-Adha greetings and discussed the overall situation in the country. According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister's media office, Al-Zaidi and Al-Maliki stressed the importance of mobilizing and unifying the endeavors of all national parties to finalize the new government's structure and empower it to commence the implementation of its ambitious programs and development plans, thereby meeting the aspirations of the Iraqi people for stability and progress.
