Al-Sudani Congratulates Christians on Easter, Reaffirms Commitment to Iraqis

Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani renewed his commitment to protecting the interests of Iraqis wherever they are.

In a post, he said: “We congratulate our Christian citizens inside and outside Iraq on the occasion of Easter.”

He added: “We reaffirm our commitment to caring for Iraqis everywhere and support preserving the country’s cultural and civilizational diversity.”

He noted that Iraq has embraced various communities throughout history.

He said this has made Iraq unique among nations.

He stressed the importance of maintaining this diversity as part of the country’s identity.
