Al-Halbousi Registers Iraq's Reservation on "Two-State Solution" Term, Affirms Support for Palestine

The Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Heibat al-Halbousi, announced on Saturday that Iraq officially registered its reservation on the term "two-state solution" included in the final statement issued by the eighth conference of the Arab Parliament and heads of Arab councils and parliaments, which was held in Cairo. Al-Halbousi affirmed in a statement Iraq's steadfast position, which supports the full rights of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
