Al-Halbousi: Presidential Election Session to Be Held on Schedule

Speaker of Parliament Mohammed Al-Halbousi confirmed that the presidential election session will be held as scheduled.

He stated that parliament is proceeding with the session on time.

He noted that the names of absent MPs will be announced during the session.

Parliament leadership had previously set April 11 as the date for the vote.
