Ahead of Islamabad Talks: Pakistan Urges US and Iran to Extend Ceasefire and Prioritize Diplomacy

 Pakistani Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar called on the United States and Iran today, Tuesday, to extend the ceasefire agreement scheduled to expire early Thursday. During a meeting with the US Chargé d'Affaires, the Minister emphasized that dialogue is the only viable means to achieve sustainable stability in the region. This call comes at a critical time to ensure a suitable atmosphere for the upcoming negotiations tomorrow, Wednesday, in Islamabad, amidst international efforts to defuse the crisis and prevent a return to combat operations.
