The Ministry of Natural Resources in the Kurdistan Region announced today, Thursday, an agreement with the federal government to resume oil exports from the region via Turkey's Ceyhan port. The ministry stated, in a press release, that a delegation from the Kurdistan Regional Government, accompanied by representatives from oil production companies operating locally, had visited Baghdad. They held meetings with Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaidi and Oil Minister Basim Al-Abbadi, which concluded with an agreement to reactivate Kurdistan Region oil exports through the mentioned port.
